Suggestion: use span instead of div

This is a minor pinch point for me. I would like to use rateit inside a span, however a div inside of a span is not technically valid. I know I could change my markup out for div's, and I probably will. However I just wanted to suggest that a future release might use a more flexible markup like a span rather than a div. In the long run it would achieve the same effect but would not suffer from this small shortcoming.

Thanks

You are right. Perhaps in the next update I'll make it configurable. I don't want to break current setups that perhaps use div in their style selection.

That would be awesome. Thanks for listening. Hope to see it come to fruition.

Hi,

Just updated RateIt. Now you can use a span element, and RateIt will render all the necessary elements as span's

So instead of
<div class="rateit"></div>
write
<span class="rateit">/span>
